Matar pulao | Peas Pulao

Matar pulao is a rice dish. you can make many recipes with rice but this one is easy and quick fix recipe. You can also make this pulao while the guest at your home.

Ingredients :
1  Cup Basmati rice
1 cup peas /matar
1 cardamom
2 cloves
2 bay leave
Curry leaves
1 cinnamon stick
 3 to 4 peppers
 2 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp kitchen king
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Cashew and resins
1 star Anis
1tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp cumin seed


1. Take 1 cup of rice, wash it thoroughly and soak for 15 minutes.

2. Now heat a pressure cooker, add ghee and oil in it.

3. When the oil gets heat add a pinch of hing, cumin seed, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves, bay leaves, curry leaves and peppers in it.

4. Lets the dry ingredients saute for a while now add Cashew and resins when the resins puffed it is ready. Add washed rice and mix well.

5. Add the salt, garam masala, kitchen King powder, coriander powder and mix well.

6. Now add the water level slightly above the rice and cook for 2 whistles.

7.  Now your matar pulao is ready to serve. Enjoy as it is or with some curry or kadhi.
