Masala Mogo |Cassava

Masala Mogo |Cassava is used for making the chips. You can make thin or thick chips. It taste somewhat similar like the potatoes chips. It is also used during the fasting days.

I used the frozen Mogo but you can also use a fresh one. It is used during the fasting. Mogo taste so good like the potatoes chips you can directly use it as the fried chips.


2 cup (10-15 stick) frozen mogo cube
salt to taste
1 tsp chilli powder
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
oil for deep frying


1. First of all defrost the Mogo.

2.  If you wish then you can directly fry in chips shapes but I like to eat small pieces so I chopped it in the cube.

3. On the other side switch on the gas and heat oil for deep frying. when the oil gets hot add the Mogo and fry them until the crispy.

4.  When Mogo becomes crispy then take out the excess oil from it and keep it on the kitchen towel to soak excess oil.

5 Transfer the Mogo in bowl and add chilli powder, salt, tomato ketchup  and mix well

6. Now serve it hot. When the weather is cold you can eat this kind of spicy and crispy sack for your quick fix hunger.
